Tat Money is a professional D.J./producer who dwells in the city of brotherly love (Philadelphia). He specializes in arranging and producing urban music, referred to as Hip-Hop. Tat or Terence started as a well-known local D.J. who gained great popularity throughout the world. Tat has co-written and produced four albums with an artist by the name of Steady B, since his start in 1985. Steady B was a groundbreaking act that was recorded and distributed on Jive/RCA Records. Tat also assisted in the production of three albums with a well-known artist by the name of Kwame (Atlantic Records). Tat Money, along side of Steady, helped to develop Three Times Dope. This group was released on Arista Recordings. Besides starting his own record label, Tat has also produced with the likes of KRS One.
Tat Money's deep commitment and hard working attitude lead him and his partner (Steady B.) to world-renowned status. During the course of recording the second album, Tat earned his spot as one of the top three Disc Jockeys in the world by displaying his skills in DJ competitions and on wax. To further his career Tat moved to New York to work with Kwame, an artist who started out in the same family as Salt & Pepa and Kid & Play. Tat has appeared on such television shows as the Party Machine, Soul Train and The Arsenio Hall Show. Besides touring the world, Tat has taken his career to the next level by selling a total of 1.5 million records.
Tat is a mixer for XM Satellite Radio & Philadelphia's WUSL/Power 99. Tat plays plenty of college parties as well as club parties throughout the U.S. Recently, he played three parties for Will Smith at the Electric Factory for the NBA Allstar Weekend. Tat has also spun abroad in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Tat Money and Big Al have launched Knuckle Up Records and they are releasing the first single this summer.
Tat Money presently resides in a suburb of Philadephia, where he has built a studio. He spends his time researching and developing new talent. And selling his mixtapes and CD's worldwide. Tat is known as a legend in hip-hop, mostly for his efforts as a DJ.
